Resumen

An ocelot litter (Leopardus parda- lis) found at a local road devoid of vegetation in Amacueca, Jalisco, Mexico is reported. The litter was composed of five kittens. A larger litter size than what has been reported in wildlife. The kittens were discovered in their shelter unattended and without guard protection which is an uncommon finding.Thisobservationprovides new evidence regarding the maximum amount of kittens in an oce- lot litter, as well as its location in wildlife.
